DO YOU EVER QUESTION THAT OUR GOD CAN SUPPLY ALL OUR NEED?
Consider the earth!!
Our globe's weight has been estimated at six sextillion tons - 6,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.
Tilted at twenty-three degrees - the perfect angel - any more or any less would wipe out our seasons in a melted polar flood.
Think sometimes your head is spinning - our globe revolves at the rate of one-thousand miles per hour or twenty-five thousand miles per day or nine million miles per year - yet we do not plunge into orbit - our God hangs the earth upon nothing (Job 26:7) and holds us in tack with an invisible band of gravity.
Hold a dime at arms length and let it eclipse the sun - you have just wiped out 50 million stars. Awsome isn't it - our God is an Awsome God - He is Jehovah-jireh - THE LORD WHO PROVIDES.
God lets us do things our way until we have hammered our thumbs to pieces, then He taps us on the shoulder and says "your Father can handle that for you, if only you ask Him and believing you shall receive."
Remember desperation is God's hammer to get us to where He wants us to be.
Stand on His word: Phillipians 4:19
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Now considering the above awesome figures - look at what God did for one man!!
Joshua 10:12-13
12-Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord
delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he
said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon;
and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.
13-And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people
had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in
the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of
heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
2 Kings20:8-10
The Lord healed King Hezekiah and added 15 years to his life and Hezekiah asked the following question:
Verse 8: And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the Lord the third day?
Verse 9: And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?
Verse 10: And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.
The song 'He's got the whole world in His hands' could not be more fitting. If God can stop the world and hold it still for a day - don't you think He can take care of your need?
Isn't is amazing? God will always give proof of His word - yet some doubt if there is a God!
ARE YOU THROUGH DOUBTING?
When you limit yourself, you start moving backwards.
When you limit God - you are living in unbelief.
