RING OF ANGELS

When I was walking my dogs today, I prayed,
"Lord Give me a Word Today."
When I returned home, The Lord said,
" Get a Pen and He began to speak words of guidance"

I was working in my yard one spring morning,
planting my spring bouquet.
A neighbor and friend walked over and began to say;
"I love your flowers,
I came to tell you.
When she sat down I thought.....she came to stay.
  As I was listening to what she had to say,
the Lord spoke to me and said,"
she needs a friend today."
As I sat listening to all her pain and woe,
my heart went out to embrace her,
my neighbor and my friend.

When I was going to the store to purchase
some more flowers, The Lord spoke to
me and said," your neighbor and friend
loves flowers.  Why not brighten her day."
As I was picking out her flowers,
the Lord whispered to me, "your neighbor,
Paul has been sick you know. 
Oh yes, My Lord, I said. How could I have
forgotten to remember him today?

As I looked into their eyes that day,
the look of surprise and thankfulness
flooded my Soul.
  As I was walking back across the way, I said, oh
Lord, thank you for speaking to me today.

As I was laying in bed that night,
I began to think upon the words our Pastor
had said that day. 
To show your love for someone,
the ultimate thing that you
can do is to pray to God for that dear soul. 
To please take care of them and
lead them in Your Ways. 
As I lay thinking about the words today,
Oh Lord, I can do that, I said.
I began to pray for each of our children,
one by one. 
I prayed for my brother and sisters,
of all the things they needed.  My heart went racing
to other people that I knew that needed prayers that day.

The Prayers seem to have taken on a life
of their own as they went speeding across
my heart and mind.

As I lay sleeping in the bed that night,
I was gently awakened by whispering
and chattering in my ears.
  When I opened my eyes, around my head
was a "Ring Of Angels."
  They were looking down at me
all smiling and excited and began to
say, we have a message for you today.
  I was then in the Presence of the Lord.

He spoke to me and said," I have heard your prayers.
  Continue to pray and I
have seen your good works, my daughter."
I heard my self saying, Oh thank you,
My Lord for your visit. 
Please, Lord, come again I said

I smiled and rolled over in my bed that night
thinking about what had just happened.
. The feeling of Peace, Happiness, Love and Great
Beauty, was washing all over me
as I thought of the Angels that had looked
upon me. 

Their Bright Shining faces that glowed
with their love. 
I remembered the story the Bible has told,
about the Cherub Angels that surround
Gods Throne that act as messengers sent from
God up Above.

Months have passed.
  I still think of the night that Holy Angels came to visit me.
I can still hear the Words of the Lord,
"Continue to Pray for loved ones."
I now find myself praying for all the World
Praise you Lord
for your Words.

These words that I have written
have been sent to me by the Holy Spirit of My
Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, that reigns for ever and ever.
  amen, and amen. 
I love you Lord . All praise and Honor to our King.
  Glory, Glory , to Your Name.....
