Currently in America, abortion is, at a national level, legal for any reason at any time during pregnancy, including partial birth abortions. Congress has been presented many times with pro-life bills, however, due mainly to presidential vetoes, no abortion ban has been passed.
The petition for life was established to try to help end the horror of abortion. The petition helps you send your pro-life feelings to your congressmen, the ones who can help stop this slaughter.
The point of the petition is to send YOUR
congressmen e-mails describing your beliefs on abortion.
Hopefully soon, there will be several changes in the way this

Also, I would like to make a variety of e-mails
a part of the petition. I need specific messages opposing Partial-Birth
Abortions, Post-Viability Abortions, Pre-viability abortions,
Federal Funding of Abortion, and Anything
else important I left out Again,

It is essential that both the House and the Senate be
reached with these messages. Currently the House of
Representatives has the pro-life support to pass many pro-life
bills with a 2/3 majority (enough to override a presidential
veto).
The Senate, however, only has a 60% (simple)
majority and can not override a veto. It is extremely important
that Senators change their minds to support pro-life bills. While

use the following to contact your senator.

Senator, abortion is an abomination. Please show your respect for all human rights, including the right to life which is currently denied to babies brutally killed through abortion. Please vote pro-life in any upcoming abortion bills.
