The empty tomb. You gotta love it! I personally think it would make a much better symbol of the Christian faith than the cross does, but then again, how do you put it on a chain?
Don't get me wrong, I understand how the cross became a symbol. I mean, it is the sacrifice of the perfect man/Son of God that pays for our sin and allows us entrance into the presence of God. But not without the empty tomb! The empty tomb is God signing off on Jesus' completed work order.
