"Dad loves you more" Question: How many children have said this? Answer: Every one who has a brother or sister. Each one of my kids (4) thinks I love the others more than I do them. Each one can justify this in their mind. Everyone carries a portion of sadness because of this untruth. Everyone, including me. Do they feel that I love the others more, or that I love them less? How sad to live with this feeling. How sad not to realize how much they are loved.

Each person is unique. Each has their own special qualities. Consequently, they cannot be compared. We have addressed this fact with each family member individually and corporately. It doesn't seem to matter what we say. The feeling is there. How I wish I could send that lie back where it came from. There is a time when love gives you that achy feeling inside and you wish you could take the hurt away from someone. You wish you could somehow put a piece of your heart inside them so they would know how much they are loved. When you love someone, you want them to know how you feel. If they do not understand, you feel a twinge of pain. You notice a gnawing feeling in the pit of your stomach. Your soul is troubled. We dance in a ballet of love choreographed with peace and pain. The pirouette of peace comes with realization that we are loved. The poison of pain comes from misunderstanding. Both are present in our lives and we sometimes vaccilate between peace and pain several times each day. I wonder if the Father gets that achy feeling when we question His love for us. Do we cause Him pain when we behave as though we do not love Him? He has given us a piece of His heart. He has given us Jesus. Psalms 150 King James Version 1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. Dance, children. Dance! For your Father in heaven loves you more than you can comprehend. All contents Copyright (c) Rod Use without permission is prohibited
